Unfortunate corporations have known for years that social media is a powerful tool, and that its egalitarian nature makes is much easier to use against them for them to use for their own gain. Operation Chokehold brought that home for more people than ever. Even if the technical aim failed, the message was made: People. Are. Pissed.
